Telemedicine
Telemedicine Visits with APRM Solutions
APRM Solutions offers telemedicine for the consultations and follow-ups that can happen safely from home: medication discussions, result reviews and many check-ins. When an exam, procedure or infusion is required, the team says so clearly and schedules it in person at the Shelton clinic.
Care that meets you where you are
Virtual visits for the right moments
Not every health conversation needs a waiting room. Follow-ups, medication questions and result reviews often work perfectly by video, and they keep your care moving without the commute.
The team is equally clear about what does not belong on a screen. Anything requiring a physical examination, an infusion or an in-clinic procedure stays in person. Telemedicine is one part of the practice's care, not a replacement for it.
Which visits can happen remotely?
Virtual care fits conversations. These are the most common examples.
Follow-up visits
Reviewing how a treatment or medication is going, without a trip to the office.
Medication discussions
Talking through refills, dose questions and side effects with the prescribing team.
Lab and result reviews
Going over test results and deciding next steps with your clinician.
Consultations and intake
Some first visits can start virtually to save time before an in-person appointment.
These require an in-person visit
- Physical examinations and first-visit exams that require touch
- All IV therapy and infusion sessions, including NAD+
- DOT physicals and immigration medical exams
- Procedures and treatments performed in the clinic
- Blood draws and other testing done at the practice

How does a telemedicine appointment work?
You receive a private video link for your scheduled visit, join from your phone, tablet or computer, and speak with the team as you would in the office. A quiet, private space with stable internet makes the visit smoother.
Which visits cannot happen by telemedicine?
Services that require hands-on care: physical exams, IV and infusion therapy, DOT and immigration exams, and any treatment performed at the clinic. The team will say plainly when an in-person visit is required.
Do I need special software?
No. Visits use a standard secure video link from the practice's platform. The team shares instructions when the appointment is confirmed.
Is telemedicine covered by insurance?
Telemedicine coverage varies by plan and has changed rapidly. The team can check your benefits and confirm whether a virtual visit is covered before you book.
Where do I need to be during the visit?
Anywhere private and reasonably quiet: home, a car parked safely, or an office. Just make sure you are on camera and comfortable talking about your health.
